The Collinsville Chorale
The Chorale singing "Gospel
Acclamation" from Robert
Ray's Gospel Mass.
The Collinsville Chorale is an auditioned ensemble of 70+ voices from the Metro-East
area of St. Louis. While stationed in Collinsville, over half of the membership comes
from the surrounding community, some even as far as an hour away! The chorale was
formed by Gary Humphrey in 1995 and since then, has continued to grow in
membership and concerts are routinely filled to capacity. We are very grateful to our
Collinsville community for their unending support.

The Chorale presents four concerts each year; a fall pops concert, typically featuring
Broadway or Hollywood music; a Christmas concert in December; a spirituals and
sacred music concert in the spring; and a patriotic/folk music concert in the summer. All
of the concerts are held on Friday nights in Collinsville. Recently, the Chorale has
added a Sunday performance of each concert in surrounding areas in St. Louis such as
St. Charles, Alton and the South County area.

We are always auditioning new people, so if you would like information on joining,
please visit the member area page for contact information. Send an email to Gary
Humphrey, Executive Director and he will set up an audition time.

Finally,
THANK YOU to the many people who support us throughout the year. The
Chorale is a non-profit organization and the gifts and sponsorships from the community
allow us to do the fantastic programming we enjoy each season. If you'd like to support
the Chorale with a tax-deductible gift, visit the member area page and contact Shirley
Grimm. You can purchase an ad in our program, become a donor or purchase music for
the Chorale. Whatever you choose to do, the Chorale is grateful for your support.

We hope to see you at our next concert!
